This ongoing opportunity based at Crystal Brook (although the physical location of this position at one of the other Spencer Gulf cities is a possibility) will offer a challenge and significant career opportunity to the most competent of people.  Working across the Northern Region of the sta te, this position will initially be responsible in providing trade waste, recycled water, backflow prevention, building connections and easements technical support and inspections, audits and approvals.

Due to the Corporation coming under Regulation in July 2012, some of these tasks will become the responsibility of the Regulator's Office, so the position will gradually move toward a more focused technical support role. This will include investigations and project management with regard to water and wastewater service projects such as land developments, mains extensions and mains replacements.

To be considered you will need a minimum of a Certificate of Competency in Sanitary Plumbing, Water Plumbing and Drainage, however, due to the role development you should be working towards or have completed a formal qualification in Civil or Mechanical Engineering at either Diploma or Associate Degree level.  Any applicant with the core skills and displaying the ability and willingness to pursue attaining these advanced qualifications should not be deterred from applying.
